The School District of Greenville County, in conjunction with the Greenville County Sheriff's Office has established the School Resource Officer Program in all Greenville County High Schools.  The position at Berea High School is currently held by Master Deputy Danny Oslager, a member of the Greenville County Sheriff's Office.  Officer Oslager's office is located near the nurse's office and is accessible from the outside near the auditorium side doors.  The office is open during regular school hours.  The School Resource Officer is available as a resource person, an educational aid, law enforcement staff, and to the immediate community for needed services with different agencies.

    The goal of the program is to decrease the number of crimes committed in schools and near school property; to keep drugs out of schools and out of the immediate neighborhood; and to serve as a helping agency with a responsibility to protect and serve all citizens.
