The following sites have been selected for your study enjoyment and potential
for passing this class.  Successful completion can provide discounts up to 20%
on car insurance.  We wish you the best of luck surviving the Berea High Whitehorse Road obstacle course (one of the most dangerous highways in SC).

Driver's Education consists of two phases. PHASE ONE consists of the 30 hours of classroom instruction, which includes information about the following:  
1. Highway transportation system   6. Automobile controls
2. Requirements for a driver's license  7. Maneuvering procedures
3. Knowledge of laws related to driving  8. Automobile insurance
4. Effects of alcohol and other drugs on driving  9. Laws of nature related to driving
5. Automobile maintenance 10. Traffic signs and lights

PHASE TWO consists of Behind-the-Wheel instruction. This instruction consists of six hours of driving and six hours of observation.  Behind-the-Wheel instruction is offered during and after school hours.  A student must have successfully completed successfuly the classroom course work to take the Behind--the-Wheel instruction.  A student must be fifteen years of age and have successfully completed both classroom and Behind-the-Wheel instruction for academic credit (1 unit).  The present fee for driver's education is $55.00.  This fee is subject to change.

              These test are to be taken on your time and submitted on three separate days.
